Convoluted but Great Twists & Turns

Last summer I devoured J.T. Ellison’s book titled Last Seen so when I saw info about her new book You Know Why & read the description of it, I was immediately sold. The book starts off fast paced right away. I like the characters of Brooklyn, her kids, Margot, & Theresa, Eden’s detective friend. When you think you figured out the mystery and who the real killer is, you’re thrown some curveballs. I did like how there were time skips here and there. It made me think Gosh, 2016 was a decade ago? I still think of it as a few years ago.  While the story kept my attention, I felt the book was too long and could have been cut a few hundred pages. I also felt there were things in the story that seemed way too convoluted. Overall, it was an entertaining book. You Know Why by J.T. Ellison will be available on August 25th wherever you get your books!
