Work In Progress is a work to get through

Work In Progress tells the story of Alice Cooper. Alice has a plan for her life down to the T. Unfortunately, what Alice didn’t plan on was losing her job and having her heart broken from a cheating fiancé and she’s almost approaching 30. Alice decides to do something impulsive for once and go on a three-week bus tour across the UK. There she meets a group of old ladies who give her much needed wisdom and a handsome Scotsman.

Writing, Setting & Slow Pace

The writing is good I like reading the story from Alice’s point of view. I also love the various settings Alice and the ladies go on especially Oxford. I like Helena as a character who gave Alice much needed advice that sometimes, life doesn’t always go according to plan but there are times where beautiful & wonderful surprises come about from unexpected plans and you get new dreams and goals. It was fast paced until it wasn’t and I felt as though the romance took forever to happen. It was a nice effort but it fell short. Work In Progress will be available on January 25^th.
