While at Acheron, Des is in a strange new world and makes new friends. Though Des senses that something is not quite right, and Des is about to find out that her talent for film making is taken more seriously than ever before.
Good Ideas, Slow Pacing
I’m happy that Lauren Kate has written another world with angels and I love the idea of Acheron not being a normal film school. Des is a great main female character. The biggest flaw for me was the pacing was slow and I think if the book was cut a few hundred pages it would have made it slightly better. Then again, I remember, Fallen was on the slower side and then things picked up in the second book Torment.
