Magic & Romance That Create a Unique Story

Not only did the premise make me fall in love with the story, but Garrett Curbow has a gift of making the story come to life with his writing. I just love the idea of a young woman literally created by ink. I also love how James grew from being timid and passive to then being bold and standing up for himself and pursuing his dream as an author. I’ve read magical realism books, and this is the first time I read of a person created from ink. It was a slow burn here and there, but not enough for me to quit reading.
