What Are Your Dreams?

This week I finished reading many books, one of them being What Are Your Dreams?  By J-Pop music artist and first time children’s author Stephanie Yanez. What Are Your Dreams? Is about a girl named Ai who dreams of being a pop princess and encourages children to have dreams and follow them.

Review

The book is different than most childrens books. Stephanie not only wrote her book she also did the illustrations for it. I also love the fact that she put Japanese words in the book and told us what they meant. Not many children’s books teach words in another language. I know that if I’m meant to be a parent I will cherish this book forever and read it to my children and then hopefully my children will read it to their children. I also liked that in one part of the book tells children as we get older our dreams sometimes changes and that’s okay. Sometimes as adults our dreams change too. Thank you Stephanie Yanez for writing this book for the children of the world and I hope all of your dreams come true.
