The Stories Of Faded Dreams: Poems That Don't Fade Easily
The Stories Of Faded Dreams: Poems That Don’t Fade Easily
The Stories of Faded Dreams by Takako Itoh, is a small book of poems many of them written in English and some in Japanese. Takako’s poems drift between memory & imagination. There is longing, silence and light that do a delicate dance within these pages. Some are written in a haiku style. Others have a rhyme.
Writing Flows Well
The writing flows down a river stream of pages. Each poem is unique; one was dedicated to a friend who had passed away. Even when the poems don’t rhyme, I like them even though I love the rhymes of poems. Two of my favorite poems are Idioms for a Sweltering Night & Through Dusk and Dawn. Thank you, Takako, for the gift of your beautiful poetry. I can’t wait to read more of what you write in the future whether it’s more poetry or even novels. I look forward to our Q&A.
