The Narnia Reboot has summoned its White Witch

Friday April 25^th news broke that Greta Gerwig’s Narnia reboot has summoned its White Witch Jadis. British French actress Emma Mackey has been casted. Emma’s face looked familiar to me, so like many people, I did a google search of what Emma has been in. Emma had been in Emily the biopic about Emily Bronte who wrote Wuthering Heights. Emma was also in Death On The Nile based on Agatha Christie’s novel Death On The Nile. Back in 2023 Emma was physicist Barbie in the Barbie movie also directed by Greta Gerwig! One source I had gotten this from is The Hollywood Reporter.

 Since I did enjoy Death On The Nile & Barbie I am impressed so far with the casting choice of Emma Mackey as Jadis The White Witch. Will she be on par with Tilda Swinton from the 2005 film? Time will tell. I hope they cast well for Aslan, The Pevensies, The Professor, & the other characters.
