The Finders Keepers Library

The Finders Keepers Library

Savannah Collin’s life has had more thorns than roses as she has no job, a broken engagement & no place to live. Savannah with a car full of plants and a rescue kitten named Figaro goes to her Aunt Eleanor’s home in Bloom North Carolina to spend the summer with her. Aunt Eleanor has a library in her beautiful garden called The Finders Keepers Library where anyone can stop by and pick up a book or leave one. When a storm destroys the library it takes Savannah, her crush Evan, and the whole small town to put it back together again to get it ready for a garden party in a few weeks. Both Savannah & Eleanor get a chance for healing, self-discovery and a second chance at love.

Writing, Story & Characters

I know the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover, but if you did, you would judge it rightly. The story within the beautiful cover is just as beautiful on the inside. The writing is descriptive, and it is perfect to get you in the mood for spring and summer. I could picture the garden and I felt as though I were in a magical garden. I also love the characters and how it alternated between Savannah, Evan & Aunt Eleanor. I also love the fact that it’s a book about books, & how each character had to learn a lesson and learn to be brave and take a chance again. I feel as though we all know characters like those three. I also love that the theme of a second chance at love played a part for all three of them, because it seems anymore, we live in a world where people tell us, especially women that when we reach a certain age its not possible which is further from the truth.

Overall

Overall if you enjoy books about books, mixed with second chance love, healing, & warm weather I recommend The Finders Keepers Library by Annie Rains. Thank you, @readforeverpub for putting this story out into the world & thank you @annierainsbooks, for writing such a beautiful story.  I look forward to reading more books from you and doing Behind The Book Q&As on them.
