The Alice Network Mini Series

The Alice Network Mini Series

I have much good news to tell you all. One is my blog will be an affiliate for Books A Million instead of Amazon I just have to replace the Amazon links with Books A Million ones. The other good news is another Kate Quinn novel has been optioned. Months back Kate told me that although no one has been casted or started, Hollywood has the rights to her book and the first one I read from her, “The Huntress.” As I was scrolling through Instagram on the blogs instagram account, I saw Kate  post about her other book, “The Alice Network,” is going to be adapted to a mini-series by Warner Brothers. Although there are no actors attached to the mini-series yet and there hasn’t been any filming it’s still pretty exciting.

I have yet to read, “The Alice Network,” but the plot of course has piqued my interest. Below is the Amazon description of the novel. Let me know in the comments if you think this is a great idea or not. I would love to read this and when there’s more news about whose casted and when the mini-series starts to film and a premiere date I will let you all know. As always happy reading!

1947. In the chaotic aftermath of World War II, American college girl Charlie St. Clair is pregnant, unmarried, and on the verge of being thrown out of her very proper family. She’s also nursing a desperate hope that her beloved cousin Rose, who disappeared in Nazi-occupied France during the war, might still be alive. So when Charlie’s parents banish her to Europe to have her “little problem” taken care of, Charlie breaks free and heads to London, determined to find out what happened to the cousin she loves like a sister.

1915. A year into the Great War, Eve Gardiner burns to join the fight against the Germans and unexpectedly gets her chance when she’s recruited to work as a spy. Sent into enemy-occupied France, she’s trained by the mesmerizing Lili, code name Alice, the “queen of spies,” who manages a vast network of secret agents right under the enemy’s nose.

Thirty years later, haunted by the betrayal that ultimately tore apart the Alice Network, Eve spends her days drunk and secluded in her crumbling London house. That is until a young American barges in uttering a name Eve hasn’t heard in decades, and launches them both on a mission to find the truth . . . no matter where it leads.
