Podcasts From Authors Worth Listening To

Whether you’ve listened to a ton of podcasts or you want to start listening to ones that interest you, you’ve come to the right place! If you enjoy these authors, most likely you will enjoy their podcasts!

Under The Influence is a podcast by author & journalist Jo Piazza! Jo’s novels are on the New York Times Bestsellers list and some of her novels are The Sicilian Inheritance, Everyone Is Lying To You & her upcoming novel The Paris Heist coming this July. Under The Influence discusses several different topics whether it’s about influencers, parenting, true crime like the Ruby Franke & Jodi Hildebrandt saga, tradwives etc. If one episode doesn’t peak your interest, another will which what makes the podcast great! I know I need to listen to it again. Jo has had a few talks with other journalists on her podcasts too.

Dedicated With Douglas Brunt is a podcast by author & historian Douglas Brunt. On his podcast, he’s interviewed several authors! Hilariously, he’s interviewed a lot of the same authors who are on my blog, and a lot of others that I hope to interview in the future. One episode of his I listened to was the one with Nelsen DeMille.

The Evaporated With Jake Adelstein is a podcast about missing people in Japan and why some choose to go missing. Jake co-hosted it with his friend Shoko Plambek. Initially I listened to the podcast, out of support for Jake and it was the first time I listened to the podcast. After the first episode I looked forward to listening to more episodes each week! It was The Evaporated that had gotten me interested in giving other podcasts a try.
