No Lie Lasts Forever
No Lie Lasts Forever? No Lie Becomes Truth
I’m all better now. I quit killing years ago says former PDQ serial killer Harry Krugal. When a copycat murderer murders a journalist, Harry must enlist the help of Flynn Martin, whose career is on the rocks because of a botched hostage situation. Can Harry help expose the real murderer without exposing himself from his sins fifteen years back? Can Flynn Martin trust Harry even though she doesn’t know who he is or the matter of not if he’ll do something but WHEN?
A Little Long but Entertaining
While I think the book could have been shorter, it was fast paced enough to keep me entertained. I like the character of Flynn; she grows from being secretive and bottling up things to then opening up little by little as the story moves along. I also like that Flynn gets her confidence back slowly over the course of the story. Harry, even though he claims he’s reformed you know not to trust him. The twist as to who the real killer was and why they killed the journalist was a decent motive. The ending was somewhat comical with a twist I will leave it there. No Lie Lasts Forever by Mark Stevens is out today on June 1st. Grab a copy wherever books are sold!
