News about The Guest List adaptation!

Fellow fans of Lucy Foley’s murder mystery novels will rejoice at this bit of news with me. Awhile back I wrote previous newsletters about “The Hunting Party,” and “The Guest List,” getting film and t.v. adaptations. (Recently Sony has the rights to her current novel “The Paris Apartment”). I found out that the script for “The Guest List,” has been written which hopefully means they start filming soon. How I found this out was through Marie Claire’s instagram stories. Lucy Foley took over the account for the day where fans could ask questions about “The Paris Apartment,” and anything else we wanted.

 Naturally I was curious about when the heck they would start filming “The Guest List,” and “The Hunting Party.” I was so excited when she responded back to me. Here is what Lucy said, I’ve just read the script for “The Guest List,” so hopefully SOON. Maybe they’ll use this really professional bit of footage I took of the crossing on my research trip? The background was of a grey sky foretelling rain and waves that looked almost greyish.
