Maybe Someday

Maybe Someday

At twenty two typical college student Sydney has a steady job at the college library, pursuing a major in music education and has a great boyfriend named Hunter and rooming with her friend Tori. Everything changes though when Sydney discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori. Sydney rooms with a cute musician named Ridge her mysterious neighbor. Sydney is under Ridge’s spell and can’t keep her eyes off of him playing his guitar. Ridge also knows theres something about Sydney he can’t ignore either. They work together to make some music which makes feelings come alive.

 Pros & Cons

I like the characters especially our leads. I like the fact that there’s a lot of writing lyrics to songs together. While Sydney and Ridge fall quickly at least it makes sense. They do their best to not repeat what Tori and Hunter did to Sydney. What I didn’t like was this book seemed to be a bit too long. Where you think it should have ended its like there’s more pages of this? I like that Maggie, Ridge’s girlfriend stood up for herself and made Ridge and herself realize that they weren’t good for each other. There are also things that seemed rather far-fetched.

 Overall

Overall this was a decent quick read and I got through it in a few days. Was this Colleen Hoovers best? Nope. Was this Colleen Hoovers worst? Definitely not.  I’m still a fan of Colleen Hoovers even when there were two books of hers I didn’t like. I can’t wait to see more of Sydney and Ridge’s story in Maybe Now, & Warren and Bridget’s story in Maybe Not.
