Marble Hall Murders Family Secrets connecting reality and fiction

Marble Hall Murders Family Secrets connecting reality and fiction

Susan is editing a book for Elliot Crace who is doing a continuation of the Atticus Pund series with the book titled Atticus Pund’s Last Case. Susan is surprised that the story is in fact quite excellent as the story takes you to the South of France where the lady of the house Margaret Chalfont has been poisoned, someone in her family did it. The more Susan reads the story the more she realizes within these pages, Elliot has told his own family story and making accusations that his famed grandmother Marion Crace, author of The Little People Books did not die a natural death either. Can Susan solve the puzzle before it is too late?

Mystery Within A Mystery & Many Twists & Turns

I love how like Anthony Horowitz’s previous mystery novels and shows on PBS, that in this book Elliot Crace follows in Alan Conway’s footsteps and puts a mystery within a mystery. Susan is my favorite character of course. What’s great about these books is, while they are a series you also have the option of reading them as a standalone novel. Just know that there are spoilers from previous books if you prefer to read them as a series. I watched the shows on PBS so when I was offered a chance to read this book & review it, I took it. I had my suspects for both Atticus Pund’s story as well as Elliot Crace but when the twists were revealed I was kept on my toes & I agree that they made sense. Anthony Horowitz, I think would make Agatha Christie and every who done it author out there green with envy. I love the descriptions of The South of France & England. I can’t wait to read more mysteries by Anthony Horwitz. Marble Hall Murders is available today on May 13th wherever books are sold! I hope to do a Q&A with Anthony someday.
