Lulu Cracks The Case
Lulu Cracks the Case
Almost a year ago I read & reviewed Lulu At The Louvre & did a Q&A with the author Melody Kelly which you can read by clicking the link here https://booknotions.com/qa-with-melody-kelly/ . I was excited and honored to be reading an early copy of the sequel Lulu Cracks the Case. In this sequel Lulu is a British house mouse turned junior detective and is having a happy new exciting life in Paris with her family. There is still one lingering problem, there are those who believe that her beloved Miss, stole a painting from Claude Monet. Lulu is determined to find out the truth and prove Miss’s innocence. In order for Lulu to do that, she Jacques & Rousseau go from Monet’s home & then return to her old home in England to find the answers she seeks.
Writing, Characters & Exciting Sequel
Once again, the writing is descriptive and easy for young readers to understand. I feel as though Lulu has become even bolder in this sequel which I believe both children and adults will understand. This sequel doesn’t fall into the trap of not being as good as the original. In fact its equally as good as the first one. I enjoy the cute little twists in the book too. The very end leaves open for book 3 which is all I can say.
Overall
If you and your children enjoyed Lulu At The Louvre preorder a copy of Lulu Cracks The Case available for release on October 22nd 2024. Thank you Melody Kelly for writing a great sequel. I can’t wait to read more of Lulu’s adventures and to hopefully read these stories to my own children and nieces and nephews someday when God wills it.
