Kristin Hannah the author of The Nightingale and many other novels has a new novel coming out most likely next year. The name of the novel is Four Winds. This new novel takes place during The Great Depression. Its eerie how a new novel is coming out that takes place during the Depression when we’re in the middle of a pandemic. Here is Amazon’s description of the upcoming novel.
Texas, 1934. Millions are out of work and a drought has broken the Great Plains. Farmers are fighting to keep their land and their livelihoods. The crops are failing, the water is drying up, and dust threatens to bury them all.
In this uncertain and dangerous time, Elsa Martinelli—like so many of her neighbors—must make an agonizing choice: fight for the land she loves or go west, to California, in search of a better life. The Four Winds is an indelible portrait of America and the American Dream, as seen through the eyes of one indomitable woman who will discover the best in herself in the worst of times.
This sounds like the book we need right now we’re in a similar situation on how to survive the worst and look for the best in difficult times. I will post an update for when the release date of the Four Winds Novel comes out. Happy Reading everyone!
