Jill Is Not Happy

Jill Is Not Happy; Bianca is Bored

We had hit a person.

What were they doing on this dark, winding road?

This didn’t happen, couldn’t happen, but it did. Checked for a pulse. There was none.

We needed to go.

Pulled back onto the road. It was so late.

What could we possibly have done to help?

We needed to get home, get back to campus.

We needed to get out of there.

And we did.

It is said secrets destroy a couple, though for Jack & Jill Tingley, their secrets keep them together. If you ask Jill, their marriage is as perfect behind closed doors as the onlookers think. Jack would rather do anything else than be with his wife. While their daughter Maggie is off to college and they are empty nesters, their trip to Utah husband and wife have different motives. Jill’s motives involve keeping her and Jack together no matter what even if it means exposing secrets that could ruin them both. Jack will do anything to get away from her. As Jack tries to get away from her, he finds out he doesn’t know his wife as well as he thinks he does if at all…

Great Concept but it Makes no one happy

At least the concept for the book was interesting crazy wife and husband desperate to get away from her. Husband finds out wife’s secrets. The only reason the husband is with wife is she knows something that would not only take her down but take him down too. I like that their names are Jack and Jill just like the nursery rhyme. I felt like even though the chapters were short not much was happening & its obvious Jill was the nutcase. Also, the end was abrupt.
