Drop Dead Sisters

Remi Finch would rather do anything else besides showing up for a family event like her parent’s renewal vow ceremony especially her sisters. Remi & her sisters just don’t click. Remi’s unconventional upbringing & anxiety have convinced Remi of several untruths, most of all she’s not meant to build a relationship with anyone. While a family event turns out the way you expect (or at least we think it does) something happens where someone ends up dead and it doesn’t look good for the sisters. No one knows the full truth of what happened, which is what Remi and her sisters must figure out before people become suspicious of them. Best part is the sisters’ bond and there’s a handsome park ranger that has the hots for Remi.

Twists, Characters & Sisterhood

I love the mystery and there are tons of twists that I did not see coming which makes this a great mystery. I also saw that this is the first in a series so I can’t wait to read about the sisters’ adventures in the next novel. There was also a ton of humor which I appreciate. I love that there was character development for all three sisters. Remi realized that she had to take chances, stand up for herself & bring up her self esteem a bit. I also love the fact the fact that this story used a murder mystery to deepen the sisterly bond. I saw that this was book 1 in The Finch Sisters Series beginning with Drop Dead Sisters. I can’t wait to read more about the sisters’ adventures in books 2, 3 and beyond.
