Casting for Where the Crawdads Sing Film!

So its been awhile since I did a newsletter, especially about the “Where The Crawdads Sing” movie adaption based on the book by the same name by Delia Owens. Months back news hit that they were unsurprisingly going to do an adaption of the book. Now it has come out that a Daisy Edgar-Jones has been cast for the lead role of Kya.  Daisy Edgar-Jones is a British actress that has been in some t.v. shows.

Daisy was in the War of The Worlds t.v. series with Gabriel Byrn on EPIX as well as the BBC Three/Hulu show Normal People, based on the novel by Sally Roony. When there is more casting updates I will let you all know. I know I better get on the ball on reading the book on my kindle fire before the movie comes.
