All This And More

All This And More

If you had the chance to change your life, would you? In Peng Shepherd’s new novel All This And More, coming out on July 9th. Marsh is recently divorced after her husband Dylan cheated who she gave up having a law career to be a stay-at-home wife and mom so Dylan could pursue his dream. Marsh feels as though she’s missed out, until she is chosen to be on season 3 of the hit reality series All This And More (hence the title of the book). Marsh chooses several realities. While the choices are endless and wonderful, they are perhaps too good to be true. Everything comes at a cost.

Story, Writing, Pacing, Characters & A Timeless Lesson

I like the fact that this book is a build your own adventure book. After doing the Q&A with Peng Shepherd I became more excited about the book. The story weaves together mystery, adventure, romance & some darkness too. The writing is excellent. Some choices were more interesting than others, but I think that’s the point of building your own adventure. The pacing was a little long winded and I must agree with other reviewers that the book could have been shorter. I like Marsh & Ren even if it seemed Marsh didn’t grow much as a character. The timeless lesson is while we don’t have do overs to make the choices that we think in hindsight we could have made; everything happens for a reason. Life is messy and we make mistakes and have experiences, but they help us grow. I sometimes wished I knew what a blog was when I was in my early twenties, but there were several reasons why I felt Jesus called me to do this blog in 2019. I was 27 at the time. Jesus called & I answered the call.

 Overall

If you enjoy building your own adventure stories that have magic, mystery, romance and the timeless lessons about choices I recommend All This And More by Peng Shepherd. I can’t wait to read everything else Peng writes & to post our Behind The Book Q&A.
