Billionaire Lincoln Foster has a yearly tradition of throwing a party at his Villa in the Hamptons, inviting other rich friends.  Mystery & Setting

The Getaway is the first time I ever read a mystery by Kieran Scott, and now I can’t wait to read more of her work! I love the mystery of rich mutual friends becoming trapped at a villa in The Hamptons and not only dealing with a hurricane but dealing with a very human killer. The book to me was a blend of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie & the Bravo reality show Summer House, since it was in the Hamptons and the way the adults act is so immature. Some of my favorite characters were Marley, Marshall, Gemma, Lily & Hazel. As to who the murderer was and why, wasn’t who I was expecting but it made perfect sense, which is what made this a great mystery.
