Murder Most Delicious Was Indeed…Delicious

A few months back I received Danielle Postel-Vinay’s early release of Murder Most Delicious. It is a who done it in the City of Lights. The story begins with Olivia Beech, a woman who lost her job as a sommelier due to her losing her taste during the covid pandemic. Hoping to start fresh in Paris, she is given an opportunity to be a sommelier in Paris with famed chef Jacques de Bizet. What Olivia lacks in taste, her sense of smell is heightened. Unfortunately for Olivia, as the interview with Jacques begins, he takes a sip of wine and dies. There was poison in the wine and Olvia is the main suspect. The neighborhood watch, which is a group of unlikely individuals is determined to help Olivia clear her name and find the real killer before the killer strikes again.

Plot, Characters & Everything Delicious

Danielle Postel-Vinay is the pen name for the talented storyteller and New York Times Bestselling Author, Danielle Trussoni. Of course, I knew I would fall in love with the story, but this exceeded expectations. I love how this is a who done it in France and this time it’s centered around wine. Other than Romain, one of the detectives and love interest for Olivia & Olivia herself, I also do enjoy Chantal. There was a part that made me chuckle when she thought a male was the culprit was so sexy. I love the descriptions of Paris of course. Who the killer was I didn’t see it coming until very late in the book and the motives were very clever. Murder Most Delicious is available today on May 26th wherever you get your books!
