The Fine Art Of Lying
Clare Bast’s love of art keeps her life with her affluent husband Jed and their daughter Sadie from being too mundane than it already is. Clare should be happy but feels something is missing. It’s then she meets handsome museum curator, Gabriel Prevost where they get into a passionate affair. But when one morning Clare finds Gabriel dead in his home and a valuable painting stolen, Clare needs to find out who killed Gabriel and why. Perhaps the killer is closer to home….
Good Ideas But It Just Dragged
I like the New York setting and it’s a mystery in the art world. The reveal I give credit for it not being predictable. While it was a quick read & the story kept my interest, at the same time it dragged in spots. The only character I liked was Elise, the woman offering to help Clare. If the story was from her point of view, I think I would have liked it better. Some side characters should be the ones who are the main characters in my book. The Fine Art Of Lying will be available on May 5th wherever you get your books!
