Such A Clever Girl

Fifteen years ago, the Tanner Family vanished and the town of Sleepy Hollow doesn’t know what happened. Only that the house has a bloodstained floor and walls, if they could talk have so many secrets to tell. The mystery remains unsolved until Aubrey Tanner, remerges. Why did she come back? What are her motives. As the past resurfaces, it brings back together three other women Hanna the owner of the café, Stella a psychologist and Marni a teacher. While these three don’t know what happened to the family, they do know more than what they’re letting on and Aubrey isn’t letting them off the hook so easily….

 Clever Idea

The idea is clever and the twists I did not see coming which is good. I think out of all the characters I enjoyed reading from, I liked Aubrey the best. Aubrey had spunk which I liked. I like that the setting is Sleepy Hollow New York. It does give a haunting spooky vibe which will make for a great mystery even if there’s no spirits or Headless Horsemen. The flaw is the story dragged a little bit and I think that the book could be shorter, but I still enjoyed it. Such A Clever Girl will be released next month on January 20^th 2026!
