 Spooky Story & Great Characters

Where do I begin? The book hooked me on the first page and it has everything I like with New Orleans as the setting and great characters and of course a ghost story with mysteries. I love the characters of Nola, Jolene, Beau, Cooper, Sarah (Nola’s half-sister) & Felicity, Beau’s sister. I also like the parrot who hadn’t spoken since the murder at the Esplanade house and then he finally spoke. As cliched as love triangles can be, I did like the implied love triangle that might happen between Nola, Cooper & Beau & normally I hate one half of the love triangle or both love interests lol. I also love the side mystery about what happened to Beau’s mother and trying to help her spirit move on, on top of the murder at the Esplanade house. I also look forward to the next book since you know there will be a sequel.
