Time Travelers Wife TV Series & What that could mean for Sanditon…

 Hello fellow book lovers! Winter is almost gone and Spring is almost here. We can make it out of this dreary cold weather. On top of spring coming, there is book related news I am here to report. Audrey Niffenegger’s bestselling book “The Time Travelers Wife,” is getting a tv series for HBO. Steven Moffat who directed the t.v. series Dr. Who, will be directing this series based upon the novel. There was a “The Time Travelers Wife,” film back in 2009 when I was a junior in highschool and the film had mixed reviews.

I have not read the book or watched the movie, but I know Rachel Mc.Adams and Eric Bana were the stars of the film. This time around we have new actors playing the titular characters. Theo James who was in another book adaption series, Divergent, and in the Sanditon tv series based on Jane Austens unfinished novel will star as the male lead. Rose Leslie who was Yigrit in Game of Thrones and is even married to John Snow’s actor Kit Harrington in real life will star as the female lead.

 That begs the question, if Sanditon is returning for a season 2, that means they will somehow have to write Theo’s character Sidney out of the Sanditon show somehow. So if Sanditon is returning to PBS Masterpiece and Theo James doesn’t return, this could be bad news for fans of the Sidney and Charlotte ship Sidlotte.  Either they’ll recast Sidney, or kill his character off somehow or just write him out of the story. This is me speculating at the moment. I will update everyone on Sanditon news when it’s confirmed for sure it’s coming back. Theres been rumors that Sanditon might return but it hasn’t been confirmed.
